This is US!

Baltazar Rocha Jr:

Aka Jr. and BeeAre, is the oldest of the Rocha trio. Baltazar is an artist of many mediums and has been creating one of a kind pieces for the past 6 years. Baltazar is now a member of RawArtists Denver and will be featured in the Unearthed Artist Showcase on 4/07/11, at JET Hotel in LoDo (http://rawartists.org/denver/unearthed). Many of his pieces have been featured in shows and events throughout Denver including the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, FM Magazine, and Scion: What Moves You Art Show. His artwork has also been shown in a handful of galleries along the Santa Fe Art District and the Highlands. Jr's work has also been printed on a limited set of Rocha Inc. t-shirts and hoodies produced last year.

Adrian L. Rocha:

Aka Chinta and A. Ro, I am the second oldest of the Rocha trio. I am a dancer, model and dogsitter. I am inspired endlessly by my brothers to express myself with paints and words. I have participated in 3 fashion shows for Fashion Denver over the last two years and have also spent the last year GOGOing at Club Vinyl, Sangria, and Club M. I am currently attending dance classes at Cleo Parker Robinson and Zumba Fitness classes at Studio Sabor in Greenwood Village. Random fact: I have a big heart for dogs. I currently care for 8 dogs and 2 cats when their parents travel. Pending parental consent, the dogs will be introduced to you here. I take every opportunity I can to excel, and realize success is sweet, but the sweetness is determined by the amount of work you put into something. One can easily end up bitter.

Mauricio O. Rocha:

Aka Maudi and Tabo is the youngest of the Rocha Trio. Mauricio is a witty, young writer and gonzo journalist. The former columnist of "That City Life," is a current student at Denver State University formerly known as MSCD. Mauricio is an avid film and music critic. He exposes me to many new sounds that I can definately appreciate. We all reside in Downtown Denver within a 3 mile radius of eachother. This is ideal for us as we live and breath the heart of the city. Mauricio's goal for 2011 is to complete writing his first screenplay.

On Wednesdays we PAINT!

Last night the siblings and I decided to hang out since it is #springbreak! We had some large and in charge pizza @ Anthony's Pizza located near Union Station. Not only is the pizza delish, they are one of few places in CO that now offer over 100 flavors of Coca-Cola drinks. We enjoyed 6 flavors of Sprite and also Dasani Water. We then enjoyed some time in the hot tub, watched A.I. and enjoyed some creative time painting. Our oldest sibling who created the images on Rocha Inc's clothing featured at the beginning of this blog, was beautifully on our same mind set. I was thrilled to find out he was creating some artwork for his upcoming gallery show on April 7th 2011 taking place @ JET in LoDo. Click the link for details and check out the bio of Baltazar Rocha Jr. Also take a look at some of his many art pieces. http://www.rawartists.org/denver/unearthed Come support local artist. Great minds think alike, well for us they do.

#springbreak 2011

It's here!!! That means Summer is that much closer. Although I am NOT a student, I am pleased to celebrate #springbreak with my college student brother and 4th grade sister. Last night the festivities began with dinner at one of my favorite spots H-Lounge on 16th and Blake in LoDo. Their burgers are superb and at 5 bux each and 2-for-1 drinks, that is indeed as they say, "Burger Madness!" on Tuesdays. The waitstaff here rocks! Always great service, good convo and juicy burgers. All these things keep me a loyal customer! Shout out to EMILY and LAUREN! Our next stop was Vinyl Nightclub for their College Night. Now I have not been to Vinyl in nearly 6 months, last time I was there I was working the go-go box for Climaxx Sundays. The 4 story club had only one room open and the DJ spun lots of early 2000's rap music. Definitely not what I expected. If the beats are right, I'll dance all night. That was not the case last night. The DJ did not play that one song that would usually make me want to DMAO. Although the variety of women that were present on the floor had no shame in their game. All they need is some eyes on them and they are ready to let their inner-stripper come out. The girl in the turquoise and the other in the red dress gave my bro and me entertainment for the night. I enjoy Vinyl on Friday nights and Climaxx Sundays, which begin May 29th 2011 - Labor Day. If all works out, I would be extremely thrilled to rock the box again this Summer with the GO-GO crew. Stay Tuned...
