Success

The Bros and I have been very busy the past couple weeks. Last Saturday April 2nd, I celebrated my 28th birthday. To begin the birthday weekend we went to the Rockies Home Opener on 4/1/11. LoDo was pure chaos before noon as people dressed in purple flooded the streets surrounding Coors Field. Although the Rox did not take the win, we did have a blast. We then went out on 4/2/11 to 24K. I must say I was quite impressed with the set up, the staff and the DJ who did play my mothaf****n song. The gold painted bricks and the gold seating are the trademark here. Unfortunately I forgot my camera. BOOOOO!!

Sunday 4/3/11 I was in beastmode as I made it to a dance audition. I made my way to Vinyl around 3 pm to audition for Pridefest 2011. The audition was a success and I am pleased to announce I have received an offer to dance with Go Go Galaxy this June for Pridefest in Denver. I also got mad props and kudos from DJ Tatiana who I have had the privilege of dancing for last Summer and fingers crossed I'll be back rocking the 4x4 boxes soon. Looks like A. Ro will be in full force in a little less than 8 weeks.

My girl Jamie and I went to see Janet Jackson @ Wells Fargo Theatre on 4/6/11. Janet, being the diva that she is didn't grace the stage til an hour after her scheduled showtime. Not that it matters to her fans, I mean what were we gonna do complain?? Janet rocked the stage, sang her heart out and Jamie and I appreciated all the comments we got on our outfits. Jamie decided to dress Rhythm Nation and I chose to pay homage to MJ, struttin in a red and black jacket.

Lastly Baltazar's art exhibit was on Thursday 4/7/11. After lots of planning and arriving at JET around 5:30, Bee Are and I gladly decorated the main floor of JET with his art work. We measured and hung his unique pieces on 6 walls just in time as folks begin to arrive close to 8 o' clock. Rocha Inc was definitely in the building. Maudi was steadily taking notes and observing all angles of the event for his review which will be featured on his blog. Look out for that. Jr was making his rounds sharing his artistic views and interpretations with all who appreciate art. I am extremely proud it was a success. Shout out to the JET Staff and the Staff of Raw Denver for an amazing night. Check out all the pix on Facebook/alrocha83. BIG thanks and lots of LOVE to our family and friends who came down to support us and what we love to do. This is just the beginning.
